For your stay at Fernhill in 2022, we’ve prioritised the things which mean we can provide a great environment to relax in, maintain our quality of service, and keep our staff operating efficiently without too much stress, so they are healthy and happy to take care of you.

We haven’t had to sacrifice the health of our team or the consistency of our offering to give people a day off (you can still dine with us at the same standard every evening if you wish).

You will have seen in the news the challenges facing the Hospitality industry, and we are not immune to those challenges.

Our new way of operating provides the same relaxed, unobtrusive attention to detail. Our food is still freshly prepared on-site from local produce wherever possible. We still continue to enjoy providing a relaxing peaceful place to retreat from the stresses of day-to-day living…

This is what a stay at Fernhill this year looks like:

• Our doors are closed to the public except for pre-booked events, but your keys give you full access. If the doors are locked when you arrive, call us. We’re always on site to welcome you.

• The kitchen is closed at lunch times but you can order a delicious packed lunch or afternoon tea the night before

• Breakfast – we ask for your menu choices the night before, so your table is prepared and waiting for you the next morning

• Evening Dining – there is a daily changing menu for you to choose from and we dine at 7pm. We ask you to confirm your menu choices by 4pm so we can prepare for you efficiently. There are always gluten-free vegetarian and vegan options and adaptations available.

• Housekeeping – we refresh your room every 4 days of your stay, with a replenishment service available daily for fresh milk, tea and coffee etc

• Pool – open 10am-7pm. We have pool towels for you and loungers to soak up the sunshine.

• There is always someone on hand to take care of you, but we’re in the background so you can make the most of the space to relax and unwind…
